What is Geothermal?

Geothermal is Earth Energy!.  You can heat your home in the winter and cool it in the summer at significant savings by using the natural energy of the earth. Geothermal Heat Pump Systems rely on the almost constant temperatures of the earth as their source of energy.  Heat Pump Systems have two parts – an underground, liquid-filled closed loop  made of plastic piping and an indoor heat pump.  In the winter, the closed loop absorbs heat from the earth, and the heat pump transfers it to heat your home.  In summer, the reverse takes place. The heat pump pulls the heat out of your home’s indoor air and transfers it back to the cooler ground.
